Our Naturally Dried Allspice Leaves are hand-harvested from allspice trees grown with love in our permaculture garden. Known for their warm aroma combining hints of clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg, these leaves are a powerful kitchen spice and a traditional herbal remedy.

Uses / Recipes:
- Use allspice leaves the way you would use bay leaves—add 1–2 leaves to soups, dals, biryanis, pickles, meat marinades, or herbal tea blends. Let them infuse during cooking and remove before serving.
- Allspice was used by the Mayans and the Aztecs to spice drinks and as an embalming agent. It has also been used in traditional medicines as a digestive aid and as an ingredient in natural mouthwashes. Allspice leaves are used in Southern India as a substitute for bay leaves in the rice dish, biriyani.
- Pro tip: Simmer in water with ginger for a soothing post-meal tea.
